This year, our ‘Hurricane’ development project is focused on finalizing and testing the prototype, alongside refining detailed designs and optimizing processes. The success of such a significant initiative relies heavily on a cohesive and collaborative team that transcends national borders.
Our key partner in development and industrialization is Tederic Machinery. From the project’s inception, we have fostered and strengthened our cooperation and personal relationships with engineers from Hangzhou through team-building sessions in China. This is crucial for us, as many mechanical components of the injection molding machine series are sourced cost-effectively from China.
In early July, Dr. Andreas Robeck, an expert in plasticizing technology, joined our team and immediately got to work. Together with Dr. Daniel Ammer, he traveled to Hangzhou for the project kick-off and initial meetings. His role is to ensure that the right plasticizing technology is employed, guaranteeing an efficient application and stable production process for our customers.
Customer-centric development remains our top priority, particularly in drive technology, human-machine interface (HMI), and process intelligence. Customer care is integral to our philosophy. Hence, in addition to introductory meetings, planning and project discussions, and supplier visits, enhancing sales support within the scope of customer projects was also on the agenda.
