PlastiVation supplies injection molding machine for stress test

(Munich, June 5, 2023) PlastiVation Machinery GmbH has delivered a high-performance electric toggle injection molding machine NEO-E168 from Tederic to Pöppelmann GmbH & Co. KG. As one of the leading manufacturers in the plastics processing industry, Pöppelmann will subject the injection molding machine to a one-year stress test.

Stress test: Electric toggle injection molding machine is put through its ‘paces

The demand for energy-efficient and economical production solutions has a high priority for plastics processors, also due to the high energy prices in the injection molding machine industry. As one of the leading plastics processors in Germany, Pöppelmann will now put a high-performance NEO-E168 electric toggle injection molding machine from Tederic through its paces over the course of a year as part of a larger-scale series of trials in which injection molding machines from various manufacturers will be tested under production conditions. “Our goal is to increase our customers’ growth and profitability through optimized production solutions. Therefore, we look forward to the findings and approaches of this stress test to continuously improve our products and increase customer benefits so that production processes can be designed more economically,” says Bengt Schmidt, founder and CEO of PlastiVation Machinery GmbH.

The results of the stress test will also be incorporated into the development of the company’s own Hurricane injection molding machine series, which is being driven forward. In addition to incorporating user requirements, the development focuses on a holistic lifecycle approach (total cost of ownership) and on the topics of energy efficiency and digitization. “Of course, for the Hurricane we also take into account the regular feedback we receive from customers due to the increasing popularity of the Tederic ‘NEO series’ in Germany, Switzerland and Austria,” adds Schmidt.
