Together, these facilities represent a formidable production force capable of manufacturing up to 8,000 units of the renowned Tederic ‘NEO series’ injection molding machines annually. To celebrate this achievement, Tederic will host an open day event during Chinaplas 2024.
‘4.0 Smart Factory’: Revolutionizing Production Efficiency and Precision
“With the launch of our groundbreaking ‘4.0 Smart Factory’ situated at our new headquarters in Hangzhou, China, Tederic is poised to redefine the global landscape of plastics processing,” remarks Bengt Schmidt, esteemed Founder and CEO of PlastiVation Machinery GmbH. “This state-of-the-art facility integrates advanced automation technologies, including intelligent assembly lines dedicated to our flagship ‘NEO series’ injection molding machines. Following a comprehensive technological overhaul, these machines now stand shoulder to shoulder with leading European counterparts, enabling us to provide plastics processors worldwide with unparalleled value and efficiency, further enhanced by optimized delivery schedules.” The ‘4.0 Smart Factory’ in Hangzhou is engineered to produce up to 3,000 units of electric injection molding machines from the esteemed Tederic ‘NEO series’ (NEO-E), spanning a broad clamping force spectrum from 60 to 1,400 tons. Meanwhile, the newly established production plant in Jiaxing boasts an impressive production capacity of up to 5,000 units of hydraulic two-platen and toggle injection molding machines (NEO-H, NEO-M, and NEO-T), featuring clamping forces ranging from 90 to 5,500 tons, all encompassed within a sprawling area exceeding 164,000 square meters. Notably, the facility is powered by solar panels, ensuring an environmentally sustainable and self-sufficient energy supply.
Commitment to Sustainability and Diversification into the Die-Casting Machinery Sector
Aligning with Tederic’s unwavering commitment to sustainability, the new headquarters and ‘4.0 Smart Factory’ prioritize criteria aimed at enhancing environmental sustainability and employee well-being, in adherence to the esteemed LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) certification system.
